ELO ratings guide
A results-based EuroLeague ELO ranking
EuroLeague results update each club's ELO rating according to opponent strength, home-court advantage, and score margin. Unlike the official standings, the rating estimates underlying team strength and carries information forward from game to game.
Ratings start at 1,500 and update after every rated result using a versioned, published model. Read the basketball ELO formula and assumptions.
